Saluda County Farm To Table Awards
Scholarship To Future Agriculture Professionals

  Supporting the future of agriculture in our region!
  The Saluda County Farm to Table Committee awarded a $1000 scholarship to three  area high school seniors.
  Ridge Spring-Monetta Senior Kelson Palmer was presented the scholarship on Thursday, May 16th at the Ridge Spring-Monetta Awards program. 
  The Saluda County Farm to Table Committee awarded a $1000 scholarship to Saluda High School Senior   Cody Clary on Tuesday, May 28th at the Saluda High School Awards program.
  The committee awarded a $1000 scholarship to Wardlaw Academy Senior Zac Berry on Monday, May 13th at the Wardlaw Academy Awards program. 
  The three were chosen because of their scholarship and leadership in agriculture and plans of furthering their agriculture education.
  The Saluda County Farm to Table Dinner is a fundraiser held annually in Ward, SC to raise money for scholarships for area youth interested in careers in agriculture. Partners in this valuable fundraiser include the Saluda County Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Ward, and the Clemson Cooperative Extension Service. Three scholarships were awarded to area youth this year.
  The 2019 Saluda County Farm to Table Dinner and Honey Tasting will be held September 28th, 6pm until 10:00pm, in Ward.
  Tickets: $60.00 single;   $100/ couple; or $400/table of eight

Youth Summer
Soccer Camp

  June 29th from 9 am – 12 pm at the Saluda Rec Complex
   The youth summer soccer camp is hosted by Salem Baptist Church and will be led by the SHS soccer players. This camp is open to any boy or girl from ages 5-12 who is interested in improving their soccer skills as demonstrated by the coaching staff and players of Saluda High School. This camp will focus on fundamental skills through drills, skill competitions and small-sided games.
  The cost for this camp is $20 and all proceeds go towards the Saluda High School Soccer Team as a fundraiser. You may register on the day of the camp. Please make checks payable to Salem Baptist Church.
